ITINERARY

DAY 1: Moon Valley 
Reception and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, from Calama airport.
In the afternoom you will head towards to The Moon Valley. On your way there,  you will be able to photograph the Salt Mountains and admire the desert. At the moon valley, you will visit the salt statues "Las Tres Marías", the salt mine, the salt caverns and experience the sunset from the main sand dune.

DAY 2  Puritama Hotsprings
After breakfast you will head towards the Puritana hotsprings, a stream with more than a dozen small natural pools full with thermal water, (33 °Celsius) an ideal place to relax and feel the Atacama calm. Surrounded by green vegetation, is one of the most beautiful places of San Pedro.

DAY 3 Atacama Salt flat and Altiplanic Lagoons.
In the morning , you will head towards to The Atacama salt flat. The first stop is Toconao town. After that, you will visit the stone quarry “Liparita” in the Jeréz Valley and then the Atacama salt flat, where you can explore the impressive Chaxa Lagoon and admire the flamingoes. The excursion continues towards Socaire, a picturesque small town where lunch will be serve. After the break, you wil go to the final destination of the tour, the impressive and beautiful Miscanti and Miñiques Altiplanic lagoons. Return to hotel at approximately 19:00 p.m.

DAY  4: Archeological Tour
After breakfast you will start a journey that will take you through the history of the Chilean archeological capital. First you will go to Tulor which is the oldest vestige of an inhabited place in the Atacama incredibly well preserved, with an architecture of circular mud structures. On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama you will go through the Ayllu of Coyo. Finally, the tour ends at the “Pukara de Quitor”, an impressive structure of the twelfth century formed by volumes built with large rocks alternating with smaller ones. Free afternoom.

DAY 5:  Tatio Geysers
The day starts early in the morning, before sunrise, the destination is the famous Tatio Geysers, a geothermal field located 4320 meters above sea level. Surrounded by magnificent mountains it is one of the most impressive places in the area. With the dawn begins the show, while you enjoy the breakfast, fumaroles reach its maximum. After the unforgettable spectacle you can enjoy the warm waters and take a swim. On the way back, you will visit  Machuca, a typical atacamenian town. The drive is unique in its possibility of watching wild life, suries, condors, guanacos and prehistorical vizcachas often cross your way. After the excursion, transfer to airport.
